CAD Standards - Hatches

Displays when you select the CAD Standards > Hatches tab in the Options dialog. It lets you to define different hatch styles which can be applied to straight sections of raceway components.

Note: This tab only defines the hatch style. To have that style apply to raceway components you will need to define a level overwrite which will use the hatch style when a component is placed. This overwrite is defined in the EXTRACTION_Raceway.xml file located in the ...\Workspace\Projects\datasets\Imperial\std_dataset\metadata\ directory.

Note: Currently, hatch cannot be applied to raceway bend components.

Setting	Description
Property	In the Property column click the arrow next to the hatch ID to expand the list of properties to be defined as shown: The property values can be defined using the following methods depending on what type of value is required: Type a value directly into the field Select from a drop down list of predefined values. Use the arrow buttons in the Value field to adjust the value in increments.
Value	In the Value column, enter a value for the adjacent Property field using the descriptions above.
Add	Click to add a new hatch style to the list then define the name and properties for the style.
Delete	Deletes the selected hatch style.
OK	Saves the changes made and closes the Options dialog.
Cancel	Closes the Options dialog without saving any changes.
Apply	Applies the changes made while keeping the dialog open.
